My favorite post so far is the one that says that he hopes that if he is in an accident the police will call a neighbor or somebody to arrive at the scene even more quickly than the police.

I imagine getting the squeal while sitting around on a Sunday afternoon, having another cup of coffee. The phone rings.

Me: "Hello."

Police Officer who is Unknown to Me: "Ma'am, you don't know me, but there's an accident on the highway about a quarter mile from your apartment and I wondered if you would mind responding to the scene? Just to help out, you know. Until a police officer or emergency vehicle can arrive? Like, we're hearing that an SUV has overturned and might be on fire, so could you, you know, pull the family trapped in the vehicle to safety? Just til we can get there? Thanks so much."
