Since then, there has since been another response in this very thread, number 106 most notably. Up above, early in this thread, people do indeed question whether her treatment had to do with race. Then throughout the entire discussion there is the continual insistence that Oprah has the nerve to want to look at an expensive bag, and that she's a greedy 1 percenter who doesn't behave in ways DUers think appropriate, which apparently requires buying cheap bags produced in foreign sweatshops that pay substandard wages, as the virtuous on this site do.
