4. A quick google has indicated best mpg of 35 hwy. Which we all know translates to 25 mpg in the real

you are still better off with a VW Golf TDI Diesel which gets better then 40 mpg.

or if you are really concerned and live within 30 miles from your work like 80% of Americans then ditch gas all together and go with a Nissan Leaf.

On edit:

They claim the diesel CX-5 gets 44mpg. that is pretty good, but it is still blasphomy to use the lorax to hock you carbon spewing shit.
