Basically I had high hopes with Obama that he could exert his powers diplomatically. With Iraq we ended up killing thousands of Iraqis and maiming hundreds of thousands and spent trillions. Now we have yet another dictator with chemical weapons with 'iffy' intelligence. We are going down the same road. We should use the UN first. That's what's the UN is for. Besides we can remove Assad and his followers without firing expensive missiles.
