16. 'I'm opening my brain to it.' Lol, strange words out of the mouth

of a former Republican. Not just the concept of an open mind, the choice of words themselves.

I once read that a lot of FL pols have switched parties over the years but that the switches were the other way -- Democratic to Republican. And virtually all were conservative Dems anyway, part of the mass migration of southern conservatives who took over the GOP.

Maybe it'll mean folk in Florida are at least a little more opened to a switch than those in other states, though.
