Her antics are not as severe as Andy was, but whenever she trots out the Mark Penns and Lynn Rothschilds, people who say that Obama has gone too far to the left, she plays with the fire Andy did.

She can also be held to account because she, being a former Righty, knows that a lot of these folks are NOT just nice misguided people; they would gladly hang her from the same tree they would hang Obama from, and by hang, I am not making a figure of speech, I mean that if in the next election, the right wing decided to frame her with a crime, many of her "friends" would hit the talk show racket explaning why she needed to hang, or at the very least rot in jail, go broke, and do whatever else amuses the right wing.

It's funny that someone that slams Obama for appeasement is guilty of it herself; I can roll my eyes at Jane Hamsher, but with the exception of her helping Grover Norquist, she has a somewhat consistent set of values. But Ariana is selling the idea that people (especially rich white ones) are not all that bad, and that there is always room for reason. Sorry to say, that only works when the other party actually realizes that what they want WILL NOT WORK ANYMORE, and people like Andy and Ariana are exactly the main obstacle to people reaching that point. They are the classic enablers, the bartender that keeps pouring the drunk all those drinks.
