time in the public eye. Most certainly not to his ideological opponents, and I'm skeptical that he even ever showed kindness in his interactions with his proteges and colleagues. None of these RW assholes do. For example, you never hear Glenn Beck or Rushbo or Michael Savage praise, compliment, or genially converse with anyone, even eachother. The only time they ever genuinely smile or express happiness is when they're talking about themselves or pitching their sponsor's products.

I saw an interview once between Bill Shatner and Rushbo on A&E one time. I've seen Captain Kirk more at ease in his dialogue with the Klingons than with PedoRush. You could tell Rushbo was straining to put on a happy face for the cameras (whining about his tinnitis and trying to legitimize his painkiller addiction) and you could tell Shatner was straining to be nice to him.
