How unfair. Baby boomers paid into Social Security and Medicare, supported their grandparents and parents in style.
Bush fought two wars without raising taxes.
And now the Republicans want to reduce Social Security and Medicare benefits for a generation that paid for their benefits all their working lives. This will not be acceptable.
Worst part of it is that the Republicans have been pretending that they won't pass a budget or raise the debt ceiling because of the ACA. That is not at all what this is about.
It's about Social Security and Medicare.
Do we have to be China's waste basket and buy all their junk while our factories are closed and good jobs gone?
Do we have to resolve every conflict in every country in the world? Must we always be the vanguard of the peacekeepers everywhere without raising taxes on those who profit from war and without mercy for innocent civilians everywhere?
If you want to cut programs, Republicans, cut our military. We are involved militarily all over the world. We need to take care of our own people first. Stop the meddling in other peoples' squabbles. And rebuild American infrastructure and industry.
