I'm still smoldering at the republiqons' abdication of the rule of law. It's not just about hating T***p, although he is lower than excrement. He will be remembered as a lowclass criminal, who happened to con enough Americans to become president.
No, my discomfort is about the large number of white Americans joyfully and openly nullifying core values of democracy, justice, fairness, while wrapping themselves in the flag of the Republic.
POC have engaged for centuries now in ceaseless and sacrificial fight to make America live up to its ideals. POC have kept fighting, and developing brilliant strategies, as those in power commit crime after crime, flaunting and abusing their power to act unjustly.
I think about how I am feeling after yesterday's injustice, and marvel how any people could endure centuries of injustice with the grace and faith of POC.
I am white, and I am ashamed. I am here to learn from you, support you, and elect you. Show us the way forward to a more perfect union. A lot of "wipepo" have failed this nation.
