Wendy Davis' filibuster succeeded because of Leticia's timely 10 second parliamentary inquiry linked to in your first link. The TX senate chamber was never again in order to finalize the vote. The calm demeanor and the phrasing of her short inquiry attests to the fact that this woman knows TX politics.

How can anybody not see Van de Putte's incredibility?
