14. Just to be clear, I used the term 'racist" for this reason;

Entirely too often, criticism of Islam, for instance, regardless of the context, is called racist. Islam isn't a race. It is an ideology, just as Catholicism is. Donohue did not, as far as I read, suggest Dan Savage was a racist.

That was MY editorializing.

Donohue was saying Savage was a bigot. What I say is that pointing out the truth can not logically be called bigotry OR racism. It's the truth, full stop.
