And the quote from Mark Twain is certainly apt.

It occurs to me, since that one state legislator brought up farm animals in relation to laws about women's reproductive health -- hey, if we're using that as our standard, then let us not forget that many if not most MALE farm animals are gelded. Perhaps we need to take a closer look at how we manage animal herds...
