(17,320 posts)52. Other than obvious deserters during the heat of battle, yes, I think all American soldiers should
be arrested, charged and tried. After WWII, we granted the Nazi officers trials. Further, the man in question is only a citizen, possibly
a traitor to the U.S. But, I believe an execution without trial is illegal and politically very detrimental to the U.S.
