(9,654 posts)But if a person attacks obama they should at the very least do so for a valid reason.
Obama made promises he could not keep. I can sit here and argue that point but at least that is a reasonable argument for being angry...4 years ago. It ignores political realities and that getting SOMETHING passed is better than nothing, but okay. Lets agree to disagree there.
HOWEVER, that was not a reason he listed in his post (which I wasn't replying to anyways). His reason was because of the insurance company did not cover his wife. Obama has NOTHING to do with that.
I do have a problem with blaming someone who did nothing wrong, especially when they are helping people. I also have an issue with blaming someone who is trying their best for factors beyond their control. I REALLY have a problem with people using MS as a reason to attack someone who has helped who knows how many MS patients.
Call me crazy but I think people should get credit when they do good and blame only when they do bad. Its a good way of keeping the people who are making a positive difference around to keep on fighting and discourage the bad guys. So yeah I think it is harmful and needs to be called out when people attack the good guys. I make no apology for that. If that makes me angsty so be it.
Though I don't think that is the term you meant.
