What's *creepy* is the new normal of manipulative, interactive propaganda campaigns against people gathering to have political discussions in the United States of America.

This is sick behavior by a political system, echoing tactics from totalitarian countries rather than what we expect from the United States of America. Those who choose to participate are selecting an occupation beneath contempt and incompatible with human conscience and decency. The existence of the propaganda machine shows exactly how corrupt, diseased, and devoid of respect for citizens the relationship between Americans and those who pretend to represent them has really become. This sort of corrupt manipulation should not be the new normal in the United States of America.
