in response to the smear campaigns against him.

You DO know that a contract to smear Greenwald was bid on after he began reporting on the Big Banks corruption that caused the fall of the world's economies?

I suppose if people support the Big Banks they are going to hate journalists who expose their corruption but a majority of the people here and elsewhere WANT those criminals prosecuted. Which is why it became urgent for the Big Banks to try to smear ANYONE who was courageous enough to expose them and their practices.

Greenwald more than deserves this award.
