Cesar Chavez: I saw the movie last night with my wife [View all]
while we were in Portland. It is an excellent movie and I would recommend anyone to go see it!
In a part of the movie, there is a clip of Ronald Reagan as governor of California bitching about how immoral Chavez and Robert Kennedy and the grape boycott is. You should have seen the clip, the venom in his voice and hatred on his face was clearly evident.
My wife who was with me leaned over and whispered, "I wouldn't be surprised if Reagan had something to do with Robert's assassination." I had never thought about that. I was really young and wasn't too cognizant of all the nuances of politics and the news plus, I was living in Germany at the time. DU'ers what do you think? Do think there is a possibility that the old fuck wad could have been complicit either by commission or omission in the RFK assassination? I know it may seem like a dumb question, but she got me to thinking.
