13. Where's the fun in that?! I was given general anestesia for a root canal but woke...

At some point.

Unfortunately I had a flashback to an earlier time in my life and I believed that the Dentist and staff were torturing me. As a result I became combative. It's all a bit blurry but they did manage to get the procedure finished somehow. I remember trying to fight them off and not doing a good job of it as they were winning. I was still high as a kite and drooling blood all over myself when my mortified wife and daughter came to collect me from the practice's front waiting room.

When I went back for my follow up all the staff there were looking at me like I was a freaking loon and the dentist had a huge cut on his nose which he claimed he got falling off his bike (if I recall). Hopefully he was telling the truth, as I hate to think I actually hurt someone -- though from the staff reactions I suppose it's possible.

Anyway, I had to find a new Dentist after that.
