The videos, one shot from a camera perched above Bourbon Street and another taken inside a bar, showed panicked revelers scattering for cover after the shooting started near the corner of Bourbon and Orleans at around 2:45 a.m.
The photo of the woman in the Tropical Isle bar occurred when she stumbled into the bar seeking cover and help for having been shot in the stomach OUT ON THE STREET. It does NOT say that any gunman was ever in the Tropical Isle bar or that they locked the doors when he walked out. The injured woman was shot on the street and went into the bar for cover and help...
Several bystanders scurried through the open doors of the Tropical Isle Original, on the corner of Bourbon and Toulouse, a second video that appeared on local KDVR-TV showed.
"I was in the back of the bar taking a cigarette break and all of a sudden I heard a lot of gunshots. It had to be more than eight of them," a bartender named Jimmy told the station.
One of the victims was a 19-year-old woman from Arkansas, who was shot in the stomach and ended up sprawled out on the Tropical Isle's floor.
The photo of the woman as she stumbled into the bar (you can see the open door behind her) is further down the page. The first photo at the top of the page shows the same woman after she collapsed onto the floor and the staff locked the Tropical's door.
Nothing at all in the article says that one of the gunman was IN the Tropical Isle bar nor that the staff closed and locked the door after he left as you claim.
If you're going to use an article to back up what you claim it's a good idea that what the article says actually DOES back up your claim. Because it DOESN'T. In fact, it REFUTES what you claim.
