yards or so away. So his father wasn't home at the time. Even if he came home "later".. why in the world wouldn't there have been, as Fawke Em said, crime tape up.. investigators... flood lights... How could his father not have known there was a killing in his back yard? So I totally agree with this OP, and wonder why the media hasn't covered this aspect of it.

It stinks to high heaven of either incompetence, laziness, or cover-up via negligence.
