What's the problem?

As a straight male, clearly aware of my own hetero-privilege, even I could have not taken notice of it at all, I believe that this is an accurate statement.

It can also be applies across all other forms of establish privilege in this society.

The reference to human right is crucial, it only applies to human beings. Whenever the wingers talk about marriage equality devolving in such a way by which people are going to be allowed to marry their pets, that's clearly wrong, pets aren't included in in this equation… (Well maybe as fur babies, but that's a completely different story.)
