who so often take for granted the fact you are a long way from home, lonely, homesick, and in need of the moral boost only a letter from home or a phone call can give. Sometimes it seems like they forget where you are and what you're doing - probably a form of emotional compensation for the fact you may be in danger...but even if so, it still sucks to feel forgotten by your loved ones.
