There has been very little mention in all of this about the MANY single, divorced, or widowed women in the workforce. Very few of them are independently wealthy or have a partner who is paying the bills. They have to rely only on themselves for everything. I don't think Ann could possibly be good at understanding and communicating their concerns to her husband.
