...just as I did by watching it unfold from my home in California, where the events moved me to tears. The Wall went up when I was 13, and I never ever thought it would go down in my lifetime, much less that the USSR would fly apart without a bloody revolution.
It's so good to be reminded of this moment of change. Thanks.
