The NFL has stated that tge balls were not under inflated in the second half. In addition there has been no official statement as far as I know as to the degree to which tge balls were under inflated. Assuming that the unofficial reports of the balls being two pounds under (ie 10.5 pounds) thateans they were between 16 and 22 percent under.
While you would expect Brady to notice such a significant variance one also would expect the officials to have noticed. After all they handle the balls after every play. Including every Colts play. So why didn't they notice the difference? One possibility is that the degree of under inflation was less than has been reported, which would undercut your assumption that Brady had to know they were under inflated.
