6. A deliberate groping is a CRIME, not just a "mistake".

I'll give you credit that your minimizing description of this jerk's act was subconscious on your part, and not deliberate. Reaching between the seats and groping her was no more a mistake than if he'd reached over the top of the seat and pulled her hair. Intent is an element in determining the degree (1st, 2nd or 3rd degree) of a crime and this pervert definitely had intent.
