Einstein look-a-like Joe Lepis of Sea Bright speaks as contestants in the Einstein Look-A-Like Contest wait for the judges to make a decision during Pi Day in Princeton at the Nassau Inn. Pi Day celebrates the birthday of Albert Einstein on March 14, which also corresponds to the first three digits of the number Pi, the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, commonly approximated as 3.14. 3/14/2015 (Tony Kurdzuk | For The Times of Trenton)

PRINCETON — Princeton celebrated a very special Pi Day on Saturday, featuring over 30 different events held all over town for an action-packed day almost as long as the mathematical number itself.

The day's events included an Einstein lookalike contest that kicked off at 11 a.m. in the Prince William Ballroom of Nassau Inn and drew a crowd of over 100. The contest called for contestants 13 and under to dress up as the legendary Princeton resident, whose birthday was March 14, and answer a few Einstein-related questions, with the winner being awarded a grand prize of $314.15, the first five digits of pi.

Jayden Hunt, 7, of Cream Ridge, a previous winner, traveled with his mother, Alexis Vassilious, to take in the contest and participate as a judge. For good measure, Hunt donned a convincing Einstein costume of his own, possibly to remind this year's contestants what they were tasked to live up to.
