(1,397 posts)I'm an Advanced Life Support EMT in a rural Virginia county. We teach CPR, use of the AED, and basic first aid once a month and always have 10 - 30 local folks in the class.
EVERYONE who has received CPR training needs to get at least one of these sets -- get it from Amazon:
Adult & Infant CPR Mask Combo Kit with 2 Valves, MCR Medical
It's a small zipper bag (or hard case) with two CPR masks -- adult and child -- with mouthpiece valves. Place the mask tightly over the mouth and nose and blow through the one-way valve -- tilt the head back and pull the chin down to open the airway, blow and watch for chest rise.
I have a dozen or so of these sets -- all over the place, in all my vehicles with my medic bags, at home, etc.
