but it also runs the risk of faux-intellectuals also coming along for the ride and screwing up the delicate environment. There's a lot of federally administered public land, which the states are trying to legislate into state administrative control, that is rather sensitive to human presence and it would be trashed in a hurry if too many people overwhelm it.

Really awesome real estate, crappy social climate.
