(9,090 posts)have spent 25 years perpetuating those and many other myths, and it's worked great for them because the left gives that radio PSYOPS a free speech free ride.
not only that, but millions of US students who would benefit from living wages (and lower tuition) go to universities that endorse those radio stations by renting their sports logos to them for peanuts. the stations get community cred and ad dollars while helping ALEC/GOP defund public ed, attack teachers, fight living wage initiatives, and spread that trickle down crap.
