I don't get people who think one crazy religion is somehow better or more appropriate than another. Romney and other Mormons don't believe in anything more crazy than Obama and other Christians. I think all religions are nuts, but I'm not going to say one religious nut is nuttier than another. I only become concerned when a religious politician wants to govern on the basis of their religion. It really seems like Obama does not, so I don't care what his religion is. With Romney it's hard to say. I don't see him spewing any specifically Mormon things, but he'll say a lot of shit to pander to the Christian right. Does he believe those things? I don't know or care, but I do care that I think he would work to make religious-based policy into law.
