In reply to the discussion: Former POTUS Jimmy Carter Prognosis/Praying for POTUS Carter [View all]kwolf68

Horrible news, but President Carter will battle it through I am sure. If he loses he moves on with his held high, a man of compassion, grace, empathy...someone who was a champion for human rights and peace. A man who would build houses by driving the nails himself instead of showing up for photoops. A man who prayed in his closet and let his actions speak louder than his words. A man "more Christian" in his pinky than the current gang of maniacal charlatans posing as 'people of God'. The total antitheses of the current politicians and probably the last in a long time to get elected because they genuinely gave a shit about the world over.
Get well Mr. President.

In the last few years I've come to believe that Jimmy Carter was an underrated president.
