Under common law, an illegitimate child is one born to parents who are not married. Bristol has never been married but has had one child out of wedlock and is soon to have the second.

The term says much more about the parents than the children. All offense is toward Palin, and not the innocent children who had no choice in the matter.

demmiblue, I am living in the decade where people use terms that are accurate. Such as the term "bastard." Where being PC is not a thing on a site like DU because people are allowed to say things that might offend.

In fact, being offensive and causing people to actually think is a great goal of a site like DU. Otherwise DU would be just another worthless site.

Too bad you are such a prude. If you find offense at my posts then feel free to use the "ignore" function or just do not read things on DU that might upset your sensibilities.
