people have failed to understand why I have said for decades that it isn't the fundies of islam or others across the seas who worry me, but the xian fundie nutbars in THIS country. I haven't gotten death threats from the others, but I have gotten death threats from the xians. it isn't the muslim fundies who killed dr. tiller, dr. slepian, who are responsible for all the clinic attacks (including the anthrax), etc. it isn't the muslim fundies who are writing all the laws restricting women's rights in this country. but, we are told time and again to, basically, shut up, because we don't have it as bad as women in other countries.
