And I know during her family troubles in the late nineties, she got a devotional sent to her each morning by her pastor/counselor. That's usually something like verses or an inspirational blurb to use to center yourself if you're devout or to help in tough times.

I'd say he's a messed up liar, but more likely his narcissism prevents him from knowing about anything beyond himself. He said something recently about how nobody ever talked about polls or paid attention to them before he did. Seriously.
