But notice: there is almost no discussion on this board about the 55 minutes she talked policy. (And it was strong and it was interesting). But let out a zinger against Trump in the last 5 minutes, and there are 8 threads.

My complaint is not in the least about Hillary Clinton. I thought her speech was terrific. It's about the propensity for thinking that potshots are the real stuff of politics. He or she who yells loudest is the hero. No, he or she who works hardest and understands the complexities of issues is the hero, in my book.

My point was that I was glad that her speech was so substantive rather than taking the bully's bait, and I wish people would talk about that substance more. But I suppose very few even listened to it in its entirety.
