1. Another example of safety measures and NRC oversight

working as planned. Thanks for posting this.

Nuclear power generation is not safe. It has never been safe, and cannot be made to be safe. That said, safety systems and NRC oversight have made serious incidents with nuclear plants in the US rare. As long as those plants are in operation, that system needs to remain in place to do its job.
