Even if you're the sort of tinkerer who doesn't mind that kind of thing, the parts are hellishly expensive and anything you have to farm out to a mechanic is extortionate. And the *#&% electrical is always complete garbage, which is just frustrating because diagnosing that kind of thing is a nightmare.

The only Jaguar owners I know are upper middle class verging on wealthy semi-retirees who need *something* to do with their copious spare time and went against type by not taking up golf.
