82. The Leave votes only dominate in the over 50s group

Very few of them are the people either competing with people coming from elsewhere in the EU to Britain for jobs, or thinking of going elsewhere for jobs. A lot of them are already retired. It's the presence of foreigners they're objecting to, typically.
