What better way to put the plagiarism controversy behind them than by making light fun of it. It would be hilariously funny, they'd tacitly accept responsibility and the crowd and pundits would love it. It would turn the story to their advantage.

But dot expect it because the Trump campaign is not smart and Donald Trump is an idiot.
