In fact, since the sun rises later, farmers are more likely to work in the dark, or they have to get up later.
DST saves electricity, and allows for more daylight hours after work and school, which allows people to be more active.

That's what I hope they do: I don't want a 4:40am summer sunrise or a 7:30am surnrise in the winter.

The big complaint isn't about keeping the time an hour ahead—I'm all for keeping the DST time hours.

I was in Stockholm for the summer solstice this year. Sunset 1030, sunrise 330. I loved it!
