(2,322 posts)Back when Trump was a child, anyone who had dyslexia was simply considered slow and unteachable. I don't believe he's any great genius whose been held back because his disability was misunderstood. But I do think, as a rich and entitled child, he was allowed to stay in school in spite of his issues. Poor kids with these issues didn't have that option and they certainly wouldn't have gotten into college. But Trump did. And I agree that his father undoubtedly paid for him to pass college. Many legacy schools like Harvard hand diplomas to students who have the right monied name and connections, irregardless of how they've done in classes or if they've even shown up for classes.
He pretty clearly doesn't read so well, doesn't know how to study, do research, learn anything or write anything that's not easy to understand or easy to write. That indicates to me someone who blew off his education. Which speaks as much to his temperament as to anything else. He clearly didn't feel any determination to get his education no matter the obstacles. Worse, his "sour grapes" temperament means that whatever he can't do, he dismisses, mocks, disdains. That takes the dangers of his entitled status to level 5. He won't even listen to those who know more, as they make him feel inferior. And he always has to control or bring down those who make him feel inferior. That's the height of entitlement. Not only enjoying all the perks you didn't earn, but making sure no one who did earn them gets to enjoy them. It's easy for someone who can always "buy another" to say "If it's not in my control, I'll just break it." That's what comes of never having to earn or pay for anything
