What do the Republicans in Washington truly care about? [View all]

Are they less patriotic than other Americans? Do they not love their country as much as you?

Would they not follow the Constitution of the United States?

Someone once said, paraphrasing, that "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely".
The Republicans have a lot of power, but the question is, how will they use it?

Will they use it to make our country better? Will they use it to make our people healthier and happier?

But when they hear... health and happiness, they have a natural inclination to reject the idea? Why?

That is why they have such difficulty in accepting an idea like the ACA, also called "Obamacare".
That it would help to keep people healthier and happier, runs counter to their beliefs as conservatives. Why?

But, a bigger question is: How much do they care about the people of this country? Do they care at all? Will they cut every program that crosses their desk?

How much do they care about protecting our country, from enemies, both foreign and domestic?

Their over-whelming intent seems to be the desire to stay in power? They are more concerned about themselves than the people they are supposed to be working for.

If left to their own devices, how long before they blow themselves up??
