yeah he loves anyone who supports his regime, but minority dissidents are dead...
And while I agree there are no "good guys" in this fight, there IS a clearly defined line between 'bad' and 'worse'... And once you discover how a destabilized Syria benefits Moscow, you have your answer.
Personally, I'd have preferred the Syrians fight to take back their own country themselves, but they fled to Turkey and Europe by the millions instead so here we are...
But all this is moot because Putin's BFF Trump is in power, which means Putin can directly manipulate major U.S. policy with a phone call -- So if you want a complete withdrawl I'm guessing you'll see it in the very near future.
