Any self-respecting Progressive is against regime-change wars - remember Iraq? Viet Nam?? Tulsi's progressive bone fides just jumped up a notch in my book because - politics be damned - she dared visit Syria and Lebanon on a fact-finding mission of peace to convey Aloha to the war-weary Syrian people.

She also met with college girls there who told of their hope for peace.


Tulsi has " target="_blank">condemned Assad as a brutal dictator but says to have peace in Syria you cannot leave him out of the conversation

And lastly, Tulsi's progressive values fit well with Hawaii, as does her integrity and honesty in serving Hawaii's people.
