Of course we should take his actions seriously. Attacks on Social Security, Medicare, civil rights, the environment, safety regulations,veterans, the unemployed, the underemployed, minorities, immigrants, and anyone else I have forgotten that he's attacking because the list is so long... should be responded to with unity and force.

But his distractions and his fascist stylings are best dealt with by belittling him. That is his weak spot. Sinking to his level only helps him. That's how Mussolini won, by getting Italy to play his game.

As Don Draper said, if you don't like the way things are going, change the conversation.
