What objection exactly do you have to ensuring that the good and kind people of this community are not taken advantage of by an act of deliberate, and quite frankly cruel deception?

People who gave in good faith and kindness deserve to have their money returned. That's what this thread intends to help them accomplish, so I thank you for kicking the thread.
