These people are so in love with money that they can't see the reality of it (ref. my above post re: my BIL that has had a severe stroke and pays $270/day for 24-hour care). It will likely deplete all of his finances if he lives for any length of time. He is a retired contractor and no, he does not have long-term care which is what a person would need if they do not qualify for Medicaid (in his case he does not qualify because he has more than $2K in the bank).
