104. It's up to DNC to organize and relentlessly contact the MSM nationally & in every media market

It was infuriating to watch the treatment by the MSM from national news to local of our candidates. Their unfair treatment of Hillary over Trump was obvious and went on and on and on right up to The Debacle they promoted of Trump's election.

The DNC's response was beyond impotent, it was flat out embarrassing. It's not up to the candidate ALONE to ride herd or combat the misinformation or brainless both siderism of the MSM. It is up to the DNC to protect our candidates and our Party; their most basic mission should be to keep track and keep on the MSM 24/7 to make sure our candidates get equal media time as well as their message treated honestly and fairly. Making a "statement" of disapproval or complaint, the usual DNC response, continues to be
impotent and ignored. Instead immediately complain to, correct each news show (via calling the news editor) who does it.

My recommendation to Tom Perez, if he truly is interested in helping win elections for Democrats, is to set up an organized media
defense, education &response Grassroots Up Program. Take some of those millions in DNC contribs and set up a media defense organization for Dem candidates and campaigns. Employ and recruit a squad of media monitors in every single news media market and for every national news broadcast..

Then when our candidate (our our ideas like all the Props in Ca) are slighted or filtered through the lies of the Repubs (or the ignorance of these MSM's incurious, ill prepared news actors) Dems should immediately call the News Desk that slighted our us.
A barrage of calls from angry consumers gets the media's attention, especially in local media markets.( I have done it by myself in San Diego when there's a huge GOP lie repeated and it gets pulled off next broadcast)

The Republicans have had a Republican Media Machine for decades now...it is expert not only at training its candidates on framing and messaging and repeating their lies. They also ride herd of the news in every market 24/7 . Look at your local news. Look at how many local state and national seats have been lost to Dems. This Republicanization of our media simply has to stop. And it's up to the DNC as a fundamental responsibility to set up our own media Machine and defend our candidates and ideas all over the US from their
dominance of our MSM.
