I, too am wondering why there's no major movement for rescue and recovery down there. It's going to be hell pretty soon, especially since hurricane season has another month or so to go...

Maybe Mattis is thinking he can't provide aid because it's U.S. territory and Posse Comitates, or something like that?
Or worse, perhaps they're planning on a short "Hollywood conflict" with North Korea to help Drumpf look prezidentural, or something like that, and don't want to further strain assets?

If it's the latter, then I'm furious. Hundreds of Thousands of U.S. Citizens have to suffer because of a rich man's vanity and his staff of traitorous enablers.
